Adrian McClanahan
Founder and President of Flash Tech Summit
Adrian is an IT professional with over 16 years of experience, having worked in help desk roles and as a data center engineer before transitioning to her current work as a cybersecurity analyst. She also loves digging into the latest tech trends and innovative gadgets. Combining technical expertise with creative flair, Adrian has built her own business in web design, transforming a personal blog into a thriving business that helps other organizations embrace technology.
Beyond a commitment to technology, Adrian is deeply involved in community service and outreach. Whether supporting local initiatives or volunteering alongside family. She's also a passionate advocate for diversity in IT and increasing representation of people of color in tech, so she started teaching coding classes at her local recreation centers, and while doing so she founded the Flash Tech Summit, creating a platform to educate, inspire and provide resources and a space for youth to learn early on about the world of technology, and in turn elevate underrepresented voices in the industry.
Senika Romulus
Vice President
Senika is a seasoned technology professional with over 15 years of experience in the tech industry. Currently serving in higher education, Senika has transitioned her extensive technical expertise into mentoring and guiding the next generation of innovators. Throughout her career, she has worked across various sectors, utilizing her deep understanding of software development, systems architecture, and tech strategy to drive impactful solutions.

As a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Senika actively seeks to bridge the gap for underrepresented communities in technology, particularly women and people of color. Her commitment to giving back extends beyond her professional work, as she consistently dedicates time to volunteering initiatives aimed at empowering youth through STEM education, as well as mentoring young professionals.

Whether through her role in academia or community outreach, she strives to make a positive impact, ensuring that others have the resources and opportunities to thrive in the tech space.
Cyrena Jackson
Treasurer
Cyrena Jackson is a Technical Cybersecurity Manager with 12+ years' experience in leading teams to safeguard against phishing, manage reputational risks, and enhance organizational security postures. Expert in strategic operational risk analysis, presenting data-driven insights to senior leadership, and implementing effective threat solutions. Demonstrated success in driving security automation, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and aligning cybersecurity measures with enterprise goals.
Cyrena is a passionate supporter of Women and Blacks in Technology, and mentors school age children through various technical programs. She has made it a personal mission to make a meaningful impact during her IT career that helps make it easier for other women and people of color to succeed. She received an A.S., Computer Networking System and a B.S., Information Systems and Cybersecurity. Cyrena is a devoted mom and wife who hopes her career success will serve as an inspiration for her children and community.
